Starting again

Thinking about starting bloging again. Come here sometime soon, and there might be something going on.
I hope so at least.

Utkast: Sep. 27, 2012

I am just so tired of this blog. Many personal things have happened and I am just not ready to share them yet.
Anyway, sometime soon. Or rather in couple of months, I hope to open a new blog.
Until then I am trying to get rid of my extra weight and fix some health problems.
I don't think that this blog actually made it, but to those few that did read it: thank you so much.

See you

No internet

I appologize to my readers for not posting these past days but that is due to the lack of internet.
I hope that I will be able to post something properly soon, until then:kisses from Bosnia

Belgrade last summer 2011part 3: Amy Winehouse

We went to the last Amy's concert when we were in Belgrade. Her death was a huge tragedy for the music scene today. I at least think so. The concert however sucked.
She was drunk and drugged and did not sing one song. The audience supported her and singed along but it didn't help much.
Before Amy there was a Croatian group Elemental whowere excellent and after Moby who I happened to miss because I was so deeply disappointed with Amy.
Emental. In Croatian though  but you can listen here.

Belgrade last summer 2011part 2: Ballet

Next day with did mostly nothing because it was so hot. But in the evening we visited Belgrade's National Theatre to watch ballet.
It was wonderful, wonderful wonderful. We watched La Bayadere. Romantic and absolutelly stunning. We had the best seats, which we shamosly too cheap, so I would recommend to defenitely visit Theatre if you happen to be in Belgrade.
Here you have the official photos of the ballet on the Theatre homepage, where you also can book tickets , etc.
I  was not allowed to take photos during the preformance but here is how theatre, my boy and I have looked on that very day.
Our wonderful seats.
I am taller then my boy when in highheels.

DIY drawer

Last week we bought a drawer at IKEA for 200kr that has not been treated with any kind of paint or coating.
So we assebled it.
And I decided that it is going to become purple to match my purple balcony chairs.
After some google tree inspiration I started to decorate it. Silver paint <3
It took 1 hour and 10 different brushes but it really represents my style. Here comes the final outcome.
The chair looks blue in this light but it actually is purple. All the paints were bought at Panduro.
It is a really simple project that brings some personality into ones home, I believe.

2. Back to Malmo with an artichocke.
3. Lunch: Mashrooms, chicken, halomi... nom,nom...

Re-post:Hello summer, hello prom 2011

Since the prom time has come, and I feel so nostalgic  I thought to show you my prom photos taken in May 2011. I hope you like them. Oh, how I miss getting all dressed up, and feeling grown up.

The shoes I wore were zara although I don't think visible. And the dress is tailored for me according to my own design. It was tailored in Bosnia and sent to sweden and I bow to the tailor who succeded making it without measuring me but once.

Denim

Shirt: Only
Shorts: Zara
Tights: Topshop
Shoes: Perla

Abandoned piano.

Someone left a broken piano outside of a construction place near my school. Ah, why didn't they give it to me. So beautiful, even with all the graffiti.

Satin shoelaces

I decided to change my oxfords a bit. They are from DinSko's last year collection, but I believe they can be both even now.
I used the regular present satin band (you can buy it for like 20 kr), burned its ends, so they don't loose threads and fall apart, and put them instead of the shoelaces.
Here is the result.

1950's Beauty Guide

Here are some adorable videos from Youtube. They are original 1950's beauty tips. Very funny actually. Loving it.

Min dag

Feminism

In English
When you ask me about feminism, it is not the western picture I see. I don't think about not shaving my underarms or about wearing certain type of clothes. I don't mean to offend anyone who does their small contributions in such a way. As long as you do something it is worth something in my opinion. What strikes me sometimes is how the western world ignores the big issues. The issues I ignore on daily basis, such as rape, isolation, inability of expression.
It seems to me that here in the west we focus on the details. On particles. If we have the means to show and to inform, to set an example. Is the right way to do it by not shaving ourselves.
Still, I am not in place to say much. My contributions have not been large. But I have won some personal battles. I came from a more patriarchal country and set my self free. Isn't it time for us to give the wings to those who cannot fly?
Here is one beutiful and inspirational speach by Isabel Alliende that talks of true passion, of will and feminism. Please do tell me what you think.

In my pathetic Swenglish

Different kind of Valborg

On the Valborg day I didn't feel very well and so I had to miss the celebrations and the parties in Lund and Malmo.
But my boyfriend was sweet enough to provide me with an imaginary Valborg plus makeshift tent.xD
He lit some candles to represent the Valborg fire.
And there was a cute little makeshift tent, like one of those kids make when they play, stocked with my favorite magazines.
Here I am, wearing my new shorts from H&M. Good Night! Hope you also had a lovely Valbrog.
